Together with our partner STMN, we have been invited to carry out a preliminary design for the modification of an existing 68m dredger, for an Italian shipowner.
The scope of supply is to increase the total hold capacity, by achieving the maximum possible payload allowed with the existing bottom structure (which is partially oversized); to this target, the vessel depth will be increased (2m about) and also new side sponsons will be added (width of each sponson about 2m).
