We have been commissioned to follow up the design review of an existing 32m yacht, in order to request the issuance of the Class Certificate.
The critical existing downflooding points, i.e. the Engine Room and Aft Peak ventilation openings, will be repositioned through the introduction of new dedicated ventilation boxes on side shell.
The scope of work is also including the relevant Class Approval for the new stability booklet and the structural modification.
Also the global design of the Engine Room ventilation will be reviewed in order to improve the system efficiency and reduce as much as possible the maximum temperature recorded into the room.
